Q: Why would I use Mix Music Entertainminet for my event/wedding reception DJ?
A: A few key points:
Q: When do you setup?
A: Depending on the type of function, location, season and travel time, minimum 2 to 3 hours prior to start for soundchecks and lighting checks.
Q: Does Mix Music use a rental or booking agreements?
A: Yes, we do. Rental agreements require a valid driver's license, a major Credit Card and a damage deposit. Booking agreements require a minimum deposit of $50.00.
Q: When is the deposit due?
A: The deposit is due with a signed booking agreement. (Deposit is non refundable if the customer cancels.)
Q: When is the balance due?
A: The balance is due on date of service at start time.
Q: What if I want my event to go past my scheduled end time?
A: All events will plan on being wrapped up and completed by the pre-determined time on the agreement. If you want to extend your event because you and your guests are having a great time that is possible. Let me know as soon as possible at your event and an hourly rate will be provided.
Q: How far does Mix Music travel to do a show?
A: We travel all over the City of Edmonton and surrounding areas including, Camrose, Sedgewick, Killam, Lougheed, Hardisty and Daysland. Generally with in 2 hour driving time of Edmonton.

A: Mix Music uses quality sound equipment and lighting by the best names in DJ Audio/Video Industry:
Q: Why do you not have certain songs under Karaoke Music for singing?
A: Certain licensing requirements with artists and recording companies limits the reproduction of music for Karaoke purposes. All music available on the market will not necessarily be available for Karaoke.
Q. Do DJ's carry a SOCAN Licence?
A: DJ's are not required to carry SOCAN License. For more information please visit: www.socan.ca
